Travel and volunteer in France – requirements & tasks
Our animal sanctuary and spiritual retreat is located in the charming Limousin countryside. We provide shelter for handicapped dogs and cats, giving them the best life on our peaceful farm. We warmly welcome all beliefs and faiths into our inclusive community.
Who are we looking for?
- Animal Lovers: Those who are passionate about well-being of handicapped animals.

- Skilled Volunteers: People experienced in fencing, building, or renovating.
- Gardening Enthusiasts: Individuals passionate about sustainable living and gardening.

Typical tasks:
- Animal Care and Gardening: Become a furry friend’s hero! Help us provide gentle care for our special needs animals, ensuring they feel loved and comfortable. We would also appreciate help with cultivating our garden.
- Fencing Projects: Help us build safe havens for future farm residents! We need enthusiastic volunteers with fencing skills to create secure enclosures for our rescued chickens, goats, and sheep.
- Renovation Work: Help renovate a small building to transform it into a cozy, safe haven for more cats. If you have building and renovation skills, your expertise will be invaluable.
- Infrastructure Development: If you have construction or renovation experience, your expertise is invaluable in creating a cozy and secure space. This includes constructing shelters, feeding stations, and comfortable living spaces. Construction skills are essential for these tasks.
You will work for about 25 hours per week.
