Work in a hostel as a volunteer in Nepal – requirements & tasks
We aim to make our hostel in Chitwan more comfortable and adorned with artistic elements. Achieving this goal requires significant effort, which is why we need your help! We are seeking individuals with various skills to contribute to our meaningful projects.
The distance between Kathmandu city centre and Chitwan is approximately 146 kilometres (about 91 miles) by road. This journey typically takes around 5 to 6 hours by bus or car, depending on traffic and road conditions.
We welcome:
– Creative artists and individuals with decoration skills and innovative ideas. We particularly welcome artists who can paint murals or sections of the building.
– Marketing professionals.
– Gardeners or landscapers.
– Web developers who may provide training on WordPress functionalities and help with website creation.
– Carpenters or woodworking enthusiasts.
– People experienced in running a hospitality business or starting up hostels, willing to share their know-how.
You will work for about 30 hours per week.
The cost of this volunteering opportunity is € 5.00 / day per person.
Work in a hostel as a volunteer in Nepal – what we offer
Volunteers will be provided with accommodation in a six-bed dorm room and, in cases of long hours, will also be provided with food.
It will be a lively environment as we will all be staying together as a team and assisting each other with the project.
