Our family-run ranch is located in Gorkundere Valley, a short distance from Goreme. We have Anatolian and Arabian horses and offer personalized horseback riding tours in the Cappadocia valleys. We offer tours can range from 1-2 hours to multi-day adventures. Sunset rides in Red and Rose Valleys and moonlight tours around the full moon are especially popular.
I’m looking for two volunteers to help out on the ranch:
- Horse Care: Someone to help with the daily care of our horses.
- General Maintenance: Someone to help with construction, general upkeep of the farm, and gardening in our vegetable garden.
We also have chickens, dogs, and cats, so animal lovers are welcome! We need at least one person to stay at the ranch at all times.
I’m happy to share my knowledge of horses and the area, and I’m really looking forward to having some extra help!
You will work for about 30 hours per week.
Volunteers will experience ranch and village life, and have time to explore Cappadocia. In your free time, you can hike among the fairy chimneys, visit an underground city, explore Goreme Open Air Museum, or sample local wines.
