Travel and work in Europe: opportunity in Langeland – requirements & tasks

Hi there! We’re Nicolas (33), Cristina (30), and our little one, Bjørn (3). We live on a cozy campsite in Langeland, South Denmark. Our village is right by the harbor and beaches, so it’s perfect for fishing, snorkeling, sailing, and exploring the beautiful landscape. We’re a short drive from the charming towns of Rudkøbing and Svendborg.

If you stay with us, you’ll help out with cleaning, gardening, and some light maintenance tasks. Our typical work day starts at 10 AM, breaks for lunch from 1 PM to 2 PM, and finishes up in the afternoon. We’re looking for independent folks who can cook for themselves, take initiative, and stay entertained during downtime. If you’re up for a longer stay, we can even help you get certified in CPR!

We value everyone’s comfort, so please be mindful of shared spaces and tidy up after yourself. It’s also important to follow through on any tasks you agree to. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to talk to us openly. We’re all about communication and making sure everyone has a positive experience.

You’ll work for about 28 hours per week

We provide comfortable rooms until May, and during the summer months, you’ll stay in our cozy caravans along with the staff. We’ll provide a delicious warm lunch each day, and you can cook your own dinner using the ingredients we have on hand.

Join us for fun grill evenings and bonfire nights where you can connect with the staff and other volunteers. We’re always open to suggestions for other cozy activities to enjoy together! Have fun playing minigolf and disc golf, or borrow a bike to explore the surrounding area.
