Unique volunteering opportunities on museum ships – requirements & tasks
Here’s a unique experience where you will travel around the world without spending money. You’ll arrive at ports of beautiful cities aboard a 17th-century galleon or aboard the Nao Victoria, the replica of the ship that completed the First Circumnavigation of the Globe.
Your main task will be helping with the opening of the museum ship in each city we visit. You will have two days of work and two days off to explore the city. In this exciting volunteer project, there are people from all over the world.
We offer the chance to embark on our sailing project across Europe or our project across the United States. The decision is yours!
The Nao Victoria Foundation is a non-profit organization which promotes and develops events through its replicas of historic ships (Nao Victoria, El Galeón, Nao Santa María, and Nao Victoria 500) in ports worldwide.
Our experience confirms that the use of these museum vessels as a vehicle, platform, resource, or support is a great attraction and guarantees success.
Our ships have participated in national and international exhibitions and events, attracting the massive attendance of the public in ports and their huge media impact.
